What You'll Learn
Risks are factors that can negatively impact an organization’s ability to meet its strategic objectives. Broad categories of risks include financial, reputational, and legal risks. Third-party Risk Management (“TPRM”) is the process of identifying, ranking, and remediating risks that arise in the context of an organization’s relationships with third parties. In the context of an anti-corruption compliance program, TPRM focuses on corruption risks posed by third parties. The TPRM framework can be used to manage other third-party risks, some more closely connected to anti-corruption compliance. We have to be really conscious of our third parties and perform periodic due diligence during the relationship.
