Banking Certifications FAQ

What banking certifications does BankersHub offer?

Certifications in fraud (Certified Fraud Specialist), BSA/AML, treasury management, wire transfers, channel payments, RTP®, FedNow, debit and credit cards, and eBanking. Each bundles several courses into one credential.

How long does it take to earn a certification?

All certifications are self-paced, so you can work through them on your own schedule. Depending on the certification, it can take 3 to 23 hours to complete. Renewals are also self-paced and take 1.5 to 6 hours.

Do certifications earn NASBA CPE or Nacha credits?

Many do. For example, the Certified Fraud Specialist earns 12.5 NASBA CPE and 8.9 Nacha AAP/APRP credits. Credits are listed on each certification page.

Do certifications expire, and how do I renew?

Certifications are valid for two years. Several, including Certified Fraud Specialist, Certified Treasury Manager and eBanking Professional, offer a shorter renewal course to keep your credential current.

Which certification is right for me?

Frontline and fraud staff often start with Certified Fraud Specialist; compliance staff with BSA AML Professional; payments and operations staff with Wire Transfer, RTP® or FedNow Specialist.

Can my employer pay for my certification?

Yes. Each certification page has an option to share it with a manager for approval. If you're training a group, team memberships include admin tools and reporting.
