California SB1343 Anti-Harassment Training for Supervisors and Managers

California now requires employers with five or more employees to provide at least two hours of training regarding sexual harassment to all supervisory employees every two years. The law mandates specific content and techniques for the delivery of the training. This two-hour training satisfies those mandates by including training on all required subjects, including abusive conduct, and by engaging interactively with participants.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Define sexual harassment and abusive conduct as outlined under California law.
  • Recognize the forms sexual harassment and abusive conduct can take in the workplace.
  • Identify a supervisor's responsibilities for preventing, addressing, and reporting harassment.
  • Apply California SB 1343 required content to effectively supervise and manage a respectful, compliant workplace.
