Course Overview: This course covers the basic responsibilities of financial institutions regarding the release or sharing of non-public personal information about customers to affiliated and non-affiliated third parties. It covers consumer privacy laws and regulations, Regulation P and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and much more.

- Explain the need for consumer privacy laws and regulations
- Define the relationship of Regulation P to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act
- Identify the responsibilities of financial institutions for protection of consumer non-public personal information
